Capitol Grill. We went there tonight 5 people, was very excited 3 were out of town

Alright, I was thinking Capital Grill was getting long in the tooth after 3-4 times a year in Las Vegas, 5 different locations in Florida, WASHINGTON, DC , Ohio, Ny, Indiana and Pittsburgh.. been to all of them in the past.

Tonight went to one with wife and 3 guests from Brasil, unlimited wine tastings with red and white 3 whites and 4 reds. 28.00 per person unlimited. Sounds perfect to me and decent red wine. I'll bite..

Here the red wine out of order

Mt. Brave 2012 cab

Nickel & Nickel 2014 Quarry cab

Arowwood 2014 cab

Edmeades Zin 2014 15.5 %

^^ Zinfindale at 15.5% alcohol wow I liked it

^ Arrowwood cab not bad

Over all I like the Zinfindale surprisingly, very good. But overall a great deal of unlimited pour throughout dinner.

They had white to. But I passed on those

^ oysters from New Jersey, best I ever had.. lol only time I had raw oysters too. Very good, I'd do it again in a heart beat

^^ onion soup, 2nd best I've ever had, as hot as it was where I was it was worth it, great Taste, very hearty soup., can't wait until next time

^^ double cut Lamb chops, say no more the best

1 kilo lobster tail from Main cold water absolutely the most tasty bottom feeder scavenger insect I've had..
^^^^

Nice glass show wine cellar, found it unlocked and took a stroll through it,
Kinda hurried but nothing over the top

Finished up with a Late with frangelico and a latte
, so good

Looks incredible.

I used to valet for the capital grille (or rather a contracted company) in Boston, during my college days.

It's now one of my favorite places to go.

Looks like you guys all had a good time.

I'm I understanding you correctly ... $28 unlimited, did that include the food?

Wow great value for $28! They are opening one near me - I've been walking around the construction zone for a couple months! We already have three other "high-end" steak houses within a half mile, but I guess there's a market...I've never been to one before so it's good to hear they are recommended. Thanks for the write up!

Looks delicious! Even though it is a national chain, I think they are doing things right.

With unlimited wine, lobsters, lamb chops and French onion soup doesn't it sound a little too expensive for $28?

Looks fantastic. Capitol Grill pretty consistently delivers the goods, regardless of location, in my limited experience at least.

There is no way the entire meal was $28 per person. I would venture to say the $28 was for the wine tasting only. Hell, the oysters alone were probably $18.

Yes, generous pour correct. Plus she poured me that Nickel & Nickel as I asked nicely. This is a great run company as it's always consistent and really good employees that care about service. Everyone's so nice at all of resturants in my experience and really appointed amenities for dinner, we kept her busy with the wine and only 2 of us were drinking.

For I think 28.00 is unbelievable a great deal with nice wine all you can drink, and if you want to bring a special bottle no problem too. This is the kinda of thinking that'll bring people in on a normal slow night or if there's competition down the street. Really elevated the company on my eyes and much respect with stepping out of the box.

My wife loves her double cut chops, 3 brasilians all had meat of course and loved it, my lobster was the best in a long time, we'll he back for sure. Sides were au gratin potato for all of us. Of course my soup, oysters, which were killer and loaded up with horseradish were out of this world.

We were going go to Ruth's Chris but I'm glad we changed to Capital Grill and the wine was a nice surprise when server told us. I hope they continue it.

I get tunnel vision when looking at wine and usually pass over white and Pinot Noir.

Wow! Awesome night Mark. The wine tasting was incredibly inexpensive and the food (especially the NJ oysters) looked incredible. I will check this out here as well!

Nice. You would like council oak or chima in fort lauderdale.
