DJ41 Mother of Pearl/Diamond dial

Hey everyone,

Long time lurker, and first time poster. I can't begin to tell you all how much knowledge I have gained via this forum, and I thank you all for contributing.

I recently sold my Hulk, as well as my Air King (2016) to fund an AP Royal Oak (Grey Dial), which I absolutely love. I also have my trusty BLNR, which I'll forever keep. However, I'm thinking about doing something a bit out of the ordinary for my next purchase.

I'm somewhat captivated by the new DJ41 Mother of Pearl/Diamond dial piece. However, I can't seem to find and high resolution pictures of it online, nor have any of my regular AD's had them in stock. Would any owner's, or those with real life pictures of this watch share to post some quality pictures? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Best regards.

I have one and like the dial a lot. I know these photos aren't the best but maybe it will help.

I own one too and love it. It is a work of art. The only thing this watch is missing is luminescent watch hands.

Here is a pic of two (left vs right) different mop dj41s in different light.

In my eyes, an absolutely beautiful watch. I tried one on a couple of weeks ago. The only problem with mop is that no dial is the same when it comes to texture, grain, veins etc. The one that I saw was nothing spectacular. But the 36mm mop Datejust they had was truly stunning.

It could be a problem if you needed to order one and the dial is not to your liking when it comes in. Does the dealer say ok we will send it back and try for a different one or do they make you buy it?

Good question.
The one on the left I actually prefer but it didn't have the jubilee band and the AD wasn't able to change it for me. When I found the other one with the correct band, I bought it immediately.
They are nice because they are rare and different from most Rolex watches I see.

In the UK MOP & diamond is 100% a women's dial.

Odd how fashions differ from continent to continent.

Great dial for a woman. Bought the same dial on a TT 31mm for my mom a few years ago. My wife wants the same watch on an SS 31mm

Personally, I don't believe in "just for women" and "just for men". If you like it, buy it.

Here is the DJ41 on my wife. It is a bit big for a woman's wrist.

What a beauty this is. I'm a guy and tend to wear large divers, but I would totally wear this as a dress watch.

I find MOP quite spectacular. I recently bought two divers with a black MOP and a green MOP dial from a Japanese microbrand. The lighting and angle make the colours and patterns reveal themselves before your eyes in a truly unique and captivating way. The illusion of a three-dimensional texture gives the dial an unparalleled depth.

It'd be nice to see more MOP colours from Rolex, although I read somewhere that they a extremelly rare to find in the nature compared to white.
