Explorer II on NATO

I'm was thinking about putting on a NOTA on my Expy II.
I've seen alot of Subs and GMT's on NATO, but never any Expies II.
Do you guys have pictures of your Explies II on a NATO?

Not an Explorer II, but this Explorer even looks delightful on a NATO.

That Explorer on NATO does rock. Reminiscent of vintage military watches.

Take care not to allow grit to get between the NATO and the caseback. Major scratching will occur.

Many suggest placing tape on the caseback to protect it.

But NATOs do look good on Expys.

Is it just me, or do the newer Rolexes without lug holes just not look right on a Nato?

I love the look of these Exp IIs on NATO bands so much that my next Rolex will probably be a Polar Exp II.

In another thread posted about a week or so ago discussing the Maratac Zulu bands, it was stated that one really has to remove the springbars when changing a Zulu due to the band's thickness. Does this also apply to the Maratac NATOs or are they thin enough that they can be easily threaded through the watch with the springbars in place without damaging the band?

This will help me decide whether to go with a BNIB pre-2011 Exp II or a pre-loved one with lug holes as it sounds much easier to mess with the springbars if you have lug holes.

I think a white EXP on a black NATO with a small red line would be bitchin.
