With Patek Philippe.....

... the devil is in the details.

I would like to share some (poorly taken!) macros of one of my favorite watches on this relaxing Sunday afternoon. Seen close-up I realize that there are many hidden details in this magnificent watch.

I think this is something that keeps many collectors coming back to this brand: great depth in line-up, rich history and the actual watch(es) worn on your wrist have a lot more than you may have initially expected!

Enjoy the weekend guys.

Great photos. The 5070 is the watch that first sparked my interest in Patek, and the various reviews at the time of the 5070 v the Datograph.

I'm an engineer by trade and zooming in on that back shot - the gearing is just amazing and so is the pic. Nice watch.
