Incoming Hulk, with family shots :)

Here in the UK, dealers laughed at me when I asked to buy a Hulk. Most would say somewhere between one and two years. So imagine my surprise when I took a trip to Washington DC and found one just sitting there in an AD. Turns out it wasn't by accident - I found it again in an AD just across the river in Virginia. That AD offered to deliver it by hand to my hotel in DC, saving me the sales tax - that was enough for me to cave. Two months later, I'm finally home from travelling, so here I present to you my Submariner 116610LV, who I've named Tanger after the tangerine shitgibbon nicking a living in the city where I adopted him. Also pictured with Tara (the Datejust) and Agnes (the meteorite Day-Date). Though in the fortnight since I've been home, neither Tara nor Agnes has managed a moment on my wrist, I'm so in love with Tanger - so much so, you can see battle scars on his strap already :) Next up, Batman.

Big Congrats. Really dig the LV. The LV is next on my list.

Your meteorite DD is a thing of beauty.

Cheers. I've been looking at the LV for nearly two years, and gradually couldn't resist it. Living with it for two months, it's astounding. I completely adore it.

As for Agnes (the meteorite DD), photos don't really do justice, but here's a couple anyway :) The way the light catches it, I can still look at it for minutes at a time and not get bored. The only downside is in normal daylight, the white gold hands and the silver meteorite make it hard to tell the time ;) Under bright lights, it really comes into its own.

Beautiful! I just picked up a Sub last week and you are correct, they are readily available at many AD's in the US!

Congrats. I was mulling over this one since it first came out, finally picked it up earlier this year.

Re availability, the Hulk is readily available stateside, same with the Batman. Seems like you guys in the U.K. get the short stick all the time, Rolex, Patek, everything it seems is a lot scarcer!

Curious, Tourneau in Chicago quoted me two years for Batman last month.

The LV is the best modern SS Rolex, congrats.

Whilst I vaguely recognise your post as English, a language which I'm reasonably proficient in, I unfortunately can't understand most of it. Never heard of a 'shitgibbon' either
