The best value Rolex

Looking at the current range and not taking in consideration of secondary value, what do you consider as the best value Rolex model currently available.
Even though I don't own one, I consider the new DJ 41. It looks fantastic on the jubilee bracelet and with the fluted bezel. It has the versatility to be worn either with t shirt or suit. But above all, looks far more expensive than its retail price. Your thoughts.

Agreed! so I got one. It's my first Rolex and I love it! (Though not fluted or jubilee)

My thoughts too. The blue dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet is a killer combo.

OP39 - Looks classy and can fly under the radar if you go with the rhodium dial or be a bit flashier with red grape, whilst the blue gives you the best of both worlds. Can be worn on formal occasions as well as casually without looking out of place. Could truly function as the only watch you ever need. And it's the cheapest entry into Rolex ownership unless you go for the smaller dials.

LVc - Not only do you get the iconic Submariner, you get it with a beautiful looking colour scheme. I'm slightly surprised the green dial was not reserved for a PM-only variety, on which basis it's phenomenal value.

BLNR - Best-looking stainless Rolex for my money, with a useful complication and has dressy as well as sporty credentials.

BTW I don't own any of these watches. Yet.

Blue op36 with the 3 6 9.
Entry level price wise but not in terms of feel and quality. A really good looking go anywhere simple watch

Probably the Air King, if you like the looks. A Milgauss for much cheaper.

I actually think the SS Skydweller is a contender too. Not cheap by any means, but considering the price compared to a DJ and the dual-time/annual calendar complication, seems like a decent price.

Ken's OP is fantastic looking and very versatile. My vote, although I don't own one (yet): I think the ceramic bezeled white dial SS Daytona is the greatest $12,400 fun purchase one can make.

Shoot realize I was thinking of the TT DJ41 vs. the SS Skydweller MSRPs, which aren't too far apart.

It would have to be the DJ41 for me. Mine comes with the jubilee/fluted/rhodium stick dial.

For me it would be a Submariner but the best value is whichever one suits the person buying it.

I thought this Rolex model was Bang for the Buck when a few Malaysian ADs were offering a BNIB 5 yr warranty for ~ USD 5800

1. Oyster Perpetual 39 (114300) for its inexpensive entry into the Rolex brand. €5250
2. The Sub No Date (114060) for its durability, classic looks, surefire appreciation. €6900
3. The Datejust 41, smooth bezel, rhodium dial, jubilee (126300) for its elegance and movement. €6900

For me the best value Rolex is the one that gives me the biggest smile when wearing it so it is the SS daytona.

In monetary terms (buying excluding secondary value) would be a ss sub, the non date version.

I find the price of most SS Rolex still on the high side, but the strong resale makes up for it.

That's a really good looking watch. I often spec-up the Datejust on the Rolex website to see what tickles
my fancy but I hadn't really paid much attention to that dial. Looks really good on the wrist in your photo.

DJ41 if you love it. My first Rolex was a DJ and I wore it for over 20 years. Great choice with fluted bezel. And I like the jubilee on the DJ.

not taking in consideration of secondary value, oh and the 16710B is not currently available
The best value Rolex model currently available would be the 114060 NDSUBc
