Probably because the resale value of Panerai currently is not so great. But if you like their watch (which I do) then why not get it? I love their unique designs! Put one on and see for yourself!

Pam 654!!

Well secondary prices for white Pam is less than reasonable. Actually it would be difficult to sell one. If u find a well priced white Pam second hand, I say that's a pretty good deal.

Went to my AD several years ago and looked at the white dial Panerai watches. I believe that there were two of them. Tried them on and liked them. My AD, who is also a collector, told me he would sell it to me but he would not buy it. He also knows how I trade/flip watches and he said even with a large discount I would still loose a lot on a sell/trade/flip. Bought the Polar Explorer II for a nice price and have been very pleased with it.

Not sure of their reasoning - I've always loved the 114. Only complaint I have heard is on the white face Luminor 630 which uses spring bar strap attachment over the traditional screw or quick release pins.

Buy what makes you happy. Your wrist - your money.

I'm definitely buying it. I love the white crispy dial. I was just wondering why everyone kept on telling me to stay away.

It's just based on resale, White dial Pams don't sell well and secondary prices can suffer as a result. If you like it and you're not worried about resale then go for it.

I really like white dial Panerai. The 113 and 114 are classic
