Panerai Pam00250 finish question
I'm looking for a Panerai that I can wear everyday and not worry about scratching it. So I was looking at the pam 00250 because from the photos it appears to have a brushed finish instead of a high gloss finish
is this accurate? have not had a chance to see one in person. I really like the bezel and hope the finish is brushed anyone have this model and how does it hold up when doing physical activities? thank you |

Yup, looks to be brushed SS.
My 164's case is brushed SS and has held up really well to regular wear over six years. More importantly, though, Panerais really do look better with a bit of marks and scuffs (unlike many brands). |

Yes, that's right. I honestly find marks on the polished bezel to not be very visible, and I have enough of them anyway that there is a fine haze to the polish. Maybe I would feel differently if the insert had a chronometer scale on it, like the 250 or a previous generation Daytona. On the other hand, I used to have a polar Explorer II 16570, and the marks on the finely brushed bezel insert annoyed me. I ended up flipping that watch towards a 116610LV and haven't looked back. |

Can someone provide me some info on the pam00250
what year did they stop making it? did they only make it with the black face? any other info on this model would be greatly appreciated. I really like this bezel and this model but I am very new to Panerai and this would be my first one thank you in advance |

This table is no longer up to date, but you will find the answers to your questions there: http://www.paneristi.com/reference/s...ase/index.html. The 250 is a nice watch and get it if you love it. Just realize that chronos are not "classic" Panerais. |

Popular/classic Panerai are simple 2 or 3 handers is what cru means. Not chronos, but who cares. Buy what you like.
