when do U.K. A.D.s get their allocation.
Does anyone know when U.K. dealers receive their allocations from Rolex, is it a specific date every month or does the date vary from month to month.

I've been told by a couple of AD's that they get at most a couple of days notice of a delivery from Rolex and up until that point have no idea when it will be or what's in it.
On reflection, it seems weird and unlikely for a business to not know what stock is incoming and I know I've been fed BS by AD's on the odd unrelated matter. So perhaps the answer is, "who knows?" |

Anyone who does know would likely never say for obvious reasons.

I think they must have an idea what is coming, especially if they have ordered watches. The timing of deliveries I can believe Rolex do not say until a few days prior. Having waited for the new SS Skydweller I got told this morning it would be within 5 days then got a call 2 hours later saying it was in already.

My AD tells me they know their allocation around 17th of the month with delivery being 5 to 10 days later.
Even if they have ordered watches, what they get really depends on Rolex's available allocations in that particular Country. My AD ordered a TT SkyDweller with white dial in May plus several SS SkyDwellers both Blue and Black dials but as yet no confirmed allocation at all.

Received the phone call late on 07/07/17 and was in the AD first thing on the 08/07/17, they said that they had a delivery on 06/07/17 and mine arrived separately the following day. They stated that they were expecting it in but could not be sure, nor did they know the colour until delivered. If you can see on the image, the date is 05/07/17. |
