I am about to buy a gmt pepsi. I was thinking on with quickset date versions (16750 or 16700). my intention is to use it daily.
I was considering buying 16750 with matte dialed but i read somewhere, that when those watches are serviced they change matte to gloss bezel since matte bezel is no longer available ? is that true ? in your opinion is that a no no to buy a matte dial 16750. is it too scratches magnet ?.

I'd choose the 16750 all day long. If you send to RSC, there's always the chance they can recommend changing the dial. They did change a lot of out back in the day. You can refuse. You can also use an independent and avoid the chance entirely.
