FSOT: Nearly New Bremont ALT1 ZT/BK -- Full Set
Hi Guys,
I have a 2 month old Bremont ALT1 ZT/BK for sale or trade. I purchased it from San Fransisco while on vacation, as my 16753 had stalled (it's still in for surgery). The Bremont is a superb watch and extremely accurate, but I am not a strap guy and need to move it on. The watch is in near perfect condition with one tiny mark/scratch on the case. It comes with a black Bremont strap as well as a Bremont NATO. Of course, it also comes with the leather carry wallet, pin tool, instruction book, original receipt, slightly scuffed Bremont guide book, and wallet bag. The watch itself has proved incredibly accurate and keeps time almost to within the second. The ALT1 is a Zulu time watch and records time in three zones via a nifty little roto-click internal chapter ring. The Zulu hand is also independently adjustable. Together with a three zone time function, the watch also has a three sub-dial chronograph complication permitting 12 hours of timing and a date function. The watch is SCOC certified. The ALT1 is fitted with a heavily modified calibre 13 ¼'' BE-54AE and is water resistant to 10 ATM, 100 metres. The movement has 25 jewels, a Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, and gives the usual Valjoux 42 hour power reserve. The watch has an impressive inner and outer AR coating on the crystal and all markers and hands are well coated with Superluminova which provides fairly impressive night readability. The roto-click bezel has the 24/0 hour marker coated in Superluminova so 24 hour hand position can be estimated. The watch comes with 3 years warranty as well as retailer supplied 1 year warranty. Almost all of this warranty is remaining as the watch is only two months old. I am very impressed with the watch and its performance. It has kept near perfect time losing only 0.1 of a second in a week as measured by my Watch Tracker App. The only reason I am moving it on is that I really don't like wearing a watch with a strap and Bremont's bracelets do not match the material of the case. For trading, I am only interested in a 42mm Omega Planet Ocean GMT with black dial and bezel, and orange 3-6-9 markers. Buckle has lost a some of the black paint, which is a warrantee issue that I will resolve before completing the deal. $3900 obo
