Monvis Yellow Gold Chrono

Hello friends,

This is a watch that belonged to my father in law. It was recently passed down to me and I immediately got it cleaned up and serviced. Besides the emotional attachment, I really love the dial design, the patina, and the vintage feel of the timepiece.
Under the hood there is a Landeron Cal 248. Bicompax chrono. Manual wind.

I don't wear it often, but it is a real pleasure and a honor to have it on my wrist.

Very nice. I like the subtle tachy and tele scales.

Thank you all. I have to say that I never gave much thought to vintage watches but this Monvis and the GUB Spezichron that I acquired at the beginning of the year grew on me pretty quickly.

By the way I have ordered a new strap for this beauty. It should arrive today. I like the color of the one in the photos above but it is a low quality strap and it is quickly falling apart.

Very nice and sentimental, too.

Thanks all for the kind words.

I ended up actually replacing the band last year when I purchased a croco band with gold deployant buckle from Hirsch.
