Yes and this piece wears larger than 40 regardless of the actual measurement it has a great wrist presence and I have an 8" wrist. Where my Daytona which is suppose to be 40mm wears much smaller and feels like a 38.

My understanding is that the 41 measures less than 40mm. My DJ2 measures 41.2 and my Sky D 42 on the button.

To me, no. I've held my DD40 and DJ41 in my hand and...the DJ feels and looks a little bigger. YMMV.

Anybody have a DJ41 and the OP39? Would love to see side by side of those two.

I had an OP39 an tried a few Dj41's,with Oyster and Jubilee, they wear very similar, I think the DJ41 wears a tad bigger but definitely closer to the OP39 than to the DJ2.

Yea, that is my observation as well. The DJII looks and wears like a true 42mm in the Rolex world. This was why I went with a DJII over the DJ41.

I thought the DJ41 felt a lot like my 39mm ExplorerI when I tried it on.

40mm less 0.08mm x 2 = 39.84mm

Deduction for protective film on each side of case. Film measured at 0.08mm at clasp where it sticks out. Caliper positioned below crown and at diametrically opposite point of the case. Measurement taken perpendicular to glass as the case sides bow outwards, so no point measuring the bezel or top of case. See bow here...
