Need your suggestion.
Dear all,
I'm now going to pull the trigger for one of the following Omega watches, and need your suggestion seriously, Thanks! 1.) Speedmaster - FOIS, Steel on leather strap, 39.7mm, Calibre 1861. 2.) Speedmaster - Moonwatch, Steel on leather strap, 42mm, Calibre 1863. |

No question, I would choose the second one, Speedmaster Professional, without a doubt. The MOTM is one of the most iconic and famous watches in the world and an absolute beautiful piece. Good luck.

I'd flip a coin or choose blindfolded....you'll be happy either way. Essentially same case, same sized dial...difference is in the crown guard/hands/dial detail differences. They wear about the same IMO. If I had to have one...I think I'd go with the professional since it's really the iconic Speedmaster.

No.2 on SS bracelet you can get a strap for cheap later on but getting a bracelet separate is VE.

Either is good and just depends on your tastes. I agree with the above though, if buying the moonwatch get it on the bracelet. To source after costs over £500 here in the U.K.

FOIS looks better on a strap.

I would go with the 42 mm Speedmaster. The watches wear smaller than the stated size and I prefer the hands better. I would buy it on the metal and source a nice strap(s).

Moonwatch all the way with the metal strap as it is more expensive and you can always get a leather one later cheaply !

Thanks all your valuable suggestions, it's seems that 42mm Moonwatch won on the 1st round.
