Zicam cold remedy

I feel like I'm coming down with something, just purchased some Zicam cold remedy just wondering if anybody had any luck with it?

Use it all the time. We have four kids and their friends live with us during winter so I used to get two or three colds a season, with each one lasting two weeks. Wife bought me Zicam two years ago and I keep it at work and home and in the car. Why? The minute I get the "Feeling" I use it. Only problem is it will make your nose peel. Not boogers, but skin. Have not had a cold since, except for one; I was at work and did not use it until eight hours later. So, you must use it at the first sign or it will not work very well. You owe me because I hate serious posts.

Zicam not another psychodelic drug, does it give you a euphoric experience of owning every Rolex model in the world

P.S. I hope you get over your cold soon, I've never heard of Zicam

I have heard not so nice things about it. Effects your smell or something like that. I'd do google research.

I fly a lot. I use Zycam when I feel the creeping crud coming on. Airborne tablets too.

I put Airborne in the 12oz Gatorade Lime drink. Makes it taste very good.

I've used it and it didn't really work for me or my wife. Got the chewables and they were thoroughly disgusting. However, the "Zpac", which is a prescription, knocks it out with a quickness.

I have a new regimen for after I'm already sick... I had a cough about a month ago that was keeping me up, so I decided to try the following:

Mucinex DM
Breathright strips

The combination worked like a charm - I slept like a baby.

I have used the nasal gel many times. I use it just as symptoms appear, and it truly works like a charm. When using the gel, though, be careful to apply it only as directed, and do not get it deep inside the nostrils. There have been reports of it affecting the sense of smell in certain people, and I'm not sureif that is due to improper application. Google it!

I know that ZPac is a heavy duty antibiotic (Zithromax, I believe) which would not work on anything viral such as a cold!

makes me sick after a day, and has no appreciable effect on the cold, just my experience.

The effects of Zicam are largely due to the placebo effect. I usually tell people that their cold will go away in two weeks on its own, or if treated, in about 14 days.

What the hell does science have to do with it anyway?
