Shakeup to my collection-New Additions

I shookup up my collection a little bit yesterday. I got rid of my M Daytona and Z GMT II C for an M DSSD and a Panerai GMT 297K both brand new with a little cash also going in my pocket. I loved my 40mm Rolexes but they just looked a little too small on my wrist. I'm 6'4" and 275lbs. so I think I can pull off the DSSD. I'll try and get some shots of my new beauties asap. What do you guys think of my trade?

WOW! That Panny GMT is sharp. I've seen the DSSD up close and it's a real presence.
Very nice,
dP

Whenever anyone who is 6'4" and 275lbs asks my opinion, I tend to agree with theirs

Seriously though, nice pair, no bad one's there

Nice watches!

But i think you need to moisturize a bit! Your arm shot of the DSSD shows your skin to be a bit parched

First of all, congratulations. On your purchases and I have 2 questions for you if you don't mind, how much was each and how did you trade them in or sell them ?

Congratulations

Love the face of that Panerai but I prefer the older bracelet much better.

I love the DSSD. It's so robust. It's starting to draw my attentions away from the Platinum YM.

I traded with a well known Grey Dealer in my area. The DSSD and Panerai were both brand new in box with open papers.

I felt the same way when I first saw the new bracelet in the catalog, but once I saw it in person the new bracelet is truly impressive. I had a Panerai 161 GMT with the old bracelet, and after owning both I prefer the new style.

Seriously good looking watches, GQ. With your size, you should be able to carry off any large watch!!

Congrats - JJ

After getting used to my Panerais and Breitlings, its finally nice to have a big Rolex. The DSSD has the same class as the 40mm sports, but its on STEROIDS!

Thanks JJ...The DSSD is the first Rolex I have owned that makes me feel like a normal size person. As much as I loved my 40mm Rollies, they looked like I was wearing childrens size watches.

From your height and weight, looks like you have an 8" plus wrist. Let's have a nice wrist shot of that DSSD!!

The DS wears very comfortably & is surprisingly light for it's size. Congratulations.
