New SS Daytona for sale on Ebay
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if some of the forum experts could cast their eye over this brand new SS Daytona for sale on Ebay for me. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123 I'm no expert but judging by the photos I think this maybe genuine. The seller states that he still has the purchase receipt and that he is willing to give out the M serial number for any potential bidder to authenticate through Rolex before buying which I have already obtained and will do so tomorrow. Doesn't seem like he wants to hide anything here. I have been strongly advised in the past on this forum to purchase only from an AD, but I think this is going to be next to impossible to achieve for this particular watch, as most AD in the UK are rumoured not to be taking names for waiting lists anymore. I'm prepared to pay a little more to get one of these if that's what it takes. Would you take the risk? Probably not, I'd imagine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards Neil |

padi56,
Many thanks indeed for the helpful reply. I've heard of watches.co.uk and it's reassuring to hear from someone on TRF that he is reliable. I'll give them a call. Many thanks again. Neil |

Thing is though, I'd imagine I'm going to have just as much trouble getting one in Oz as I would here in the UK, unless of course there's one in the window of every AD over there Best regards Neil |

$11300 in Oz. The conversion that gave me +AUS$5000 was correct when I made the calculation. Your conversion reflects todays ROE which has improved for us.
They are still hard to get over here but having said that I got my one by just asking my AD who had received one into stock earlier in the day.
