Good eye. But I believe it's refracted light from the adjacent diamond as it is also left of the 12 o'clock triangle.

I agree with you but this is true of any jewel encrusted GMT reference. For some, it doesn't matter what time it is.

I wondered that myself. Eric Ku does give it a unique reference number., and there was an additional unstickering post.

There's still a marker at 12. If you can read a normal watch that has markers instead of numbers, you can also read a GMT bezel that has markers instead of numbers.

And I'll parrot the folks finding it weird that they flipped the black and blue. I realise that the colours on a GMT bezel have always been a bit arbitrary, but if you can have black for night and blue for day, why would you switch them?

I think it's a pretty watch, but I'd like it better if the entire bezel were blue. That's a pretty colour.

I understand the mixed feelings to a piece such as this. But my takeaway is that Rolex will still offer modern timepieces with special configurations in limited runs. And I'm not surprised Eric Ku was able to source one. His collection is the stuff of legends.

Ive always wondered what it would take to get a factory customized Rolex such as a Comex sub or Tiffany's double printed dial. I've also seen the Omani Crested dials as well as the AB Trucking Company printed dials. What does it take to convince Rolex to put your logo on their watch?

ALOT of money in terms of what you have bought and/or good publicity for them to increase their sales.

Their ROI (monetary or exposure) would have to be insane for them to do this for you.

I don’t dislike it as such it’s just I really don’t see the point of it. Why have a multi time zone watch with a bezel that has no numeral markers? I just don’t get it, that’s all

It’s definately badly set stones (first and second black stones after the 3 o’clock diamond). There’s also some serious hairlines on the first 12 o’clock pcl for a still stickered watch . I’d put money on that being an aftermarket conversion and not a Rolex original piece, but who knows.

Still odd Lee. You can see the triangular diamond is the 12 o’clock marker - and it’s in the blue.

My money is still on aftermarket

Flashy it may be but I would expect it to look awesome in person and would love to see one. I'm sure I would be impressed! Even tough my taste and life style would never warrant a watch like that.

I am, however, like some others troubled with the fact that the extra bling means killing off the purpose of a GMT watch. I can imagine showing one off at a party only to be asked:"And what does that lovely blue hand do?"

The bezel is looking like someone took the ceramic off and stuffed it with stones; it is a bit off and unnatural, no offence to owners intended. Is it made like this from Rolex??
