FS: Tudor 79180 "Big Block" Chrono w/White Panda Dial, Unpolished, Price Reduced!

For Sale:
Vintage Tudor 79180 chronograph, nicknamed the "big block" due to its extra thick case. This particular example features the extremely desirable white porcelain with black subdials "panda" dial. Serial number B538xxx is circa 1993.

This is an absolutely beautiful, crisp, all-original piece which has never been polished and retains its factory chamfers. There are some minor signs of wear such as a few small nicks on the bezel, as well as some scratches (primarily on the 9 o'clock polished case side). But still really excellent condition overall. The Tudor 78360 oyster bracelet has all 13 links as originally equipped and will fit a huge wrist.

Watch is keeping accurate time and the chronograph starts, stops, and resets as it should. The one quirk that I did want to mention is that the date changes a couple hours prior to midnight which seems to indicate that the hour hand was installed at not-quite-12 o'clock during a past service. Since I only wear the watch occasionally, I personally haven't felt the desire to correct this.
