Trade 114060 toward 116610LV?
A few months ago I passed on the most recent Hulk I was offered by an AD. I think it's haunting me now.

Depends on trade value. I would sell the 114060 privately..

I switched from a 114060 to the hulk and have not looked back. As great as a black sub is, the green is so much more interesting imo

I probably wouldn't do it. The 114060 is much more versatile as far as color coordination.

NOPE, don't do it. Save for the LV if you want it that bad. I wear mine daily, and would NEVER think of trading mine. EXCEPT for a DD40 straight up. hahha and that will never happen.

Now that I own the LV, I am saving to buy a 114060. Together, they represent the ultimate evolution of the Submariner.

I did the exact same thing and have absolutely no regrets, the 114060 is amazing but there is something very special about the LV

As long as it's not infatuation. That may wear off and then you'll be shopping for an LN.
I've had my share of Rolexes and due to certain life issues I don't have any now. The green dial is never boring and from about 5' away, it can pass for black and even looks black in some indoor lighting, but when the sun or light hits it, it's like magic. It has all the classic Submariner qualities, and then adds a bit of personality. But I will say this, be sure because a black Sub is perfection. One thing is for sure, as a previous LV owner, It is the first I'll buy alongside a Black Deepsea. That will be my two watch nirvana. |

I traded my 114060 that I was wearing since 2014 and it was my first Rolex for a mint 2014 116610LV three months ago. I made a profit on the 114060 as the trade in value was USD500 higher than my purchase price!!! I am loving the 116610LV. Go for it!

I started with the Hulk, then moved on the the Smurft, and now I'm enjoying the original, the classic... Short answer: They're all great, but there is no hierarchy like I thought.

Rumors spreading 11660LV is going to be discontinued soon. Prices are going up. Buy the LV.

At first i was like YES, but then the more i look at the above side-by-side pic.... keep the ND and, if you still want it, get the Hulk as well. There's just something about the symmetry of the ND that is so classic Rolex. Also looks great on a black Everest/Rubber B strap. JMHO

Fairly easy to buy into all the Forum frenzy over this model; however, you passed on the LV once, so you probably were not that into it to begin with. If you really want it, save for it. |

I haven't bought a blk sub. It's on the list when the right one comes along however respectfully EVERYONE has one or a less expensive watch that looks just like it. GO GREEN!

Personal decision. I like the LV-C. It's a Sub in stainless steel and I love them, the color combo is atractive, but I'm not fond of flipping watches anymore. I'm quite sure I'd eventually flip the LV-C if I had one. My black Subs are here to stay though. In your shoes I'd trade the Pam, Breitling or the YMII for one. Not the 114060.

How about sell the ND and buy the LV then save up for a previously loved 14060m. Then you have a classic 5 series ND before the super case and the best of the 6 series Sub.

I have owned several of both the Hulk and the ND Sub. Both are great watches and could be a lifetime watch if the owner wanted it to be. I have always flipped the Hulk because based on what it cost to how much I wear it, I don't get my value out of it. The ND Sub is one of my favorites but I currently own the SD43 and have been in a multi-month honeymoon phase that I may not ever leave. Based on how crazy the prices in the TS market have gotten I would not get either. To fill my ND Sub gap I bought the Tudor Black Bay Heritage in red with the riveted bracelet and in-house movement and saved 5K on NIB prices.

I had a LV sub and I gladly sold it after realizing that the green is just not a daily watch. The grass is not always greener, but the LV is I guess.

I would definitely do it if the trade value is fair. The Hulk is a future legend.

Obviously you’re gonna have to put a bit of money on top the trade but I would make that trade ASAP.

I had exactly this dilemma but chose not to trade in the end.
The Hulk now gets most wrist time and the occasions I wear the 114060 it feels a bit boring, dare I say ! (only a bit) But in all honesty, if you need the trade to fund the Hulk, then do it. But if you don't, keep it, because the 114060 is an absolutely sterling watch. ![]() I would say, it will be handy to have something else to call on, and give the Hulk a rest in certain situations. Even super heroes need a rest ![]() |

I love the LV but I wouldn’t - you have THE Sub. If you trade away you’ll one day want it back. Save and add or just enjoy what you’ve got- the most perfect symmetrical dial, the most true to original, the most versitile, the most badass Sub made today.

Two hot watches right now and best scenario is both. If the Hulk is a must have for you, private sell the 114060 as others suggested and buy a 114060 or a 14060 later.
