David Duggan, very good, but expensive, other than that pop into watches of switzerland and ask to see the pre-owned selection.

Dream-watches, they have a web site, also look in AD's for second hand stock. If you decide what you want put a WTB add on the for sale section here, bear in mind you have to pay import and tax duties if outside EU

If you have the money then i'd have a look round, find a watch you want and then put a wanted thread up on here and on tz-uk.com, there's a few guys on both sites with good reputations and can get almost any rolex, and at a better price than those listed above.

If you want to go around the ADs then that's a good idea as well, but the grey dealers are just too overpriced these days, especially after the last price increase.

Forgot to say, if you could also say what you're after then it would make it easier to track down an AD with the stock in London, or even a price limit?

I have dealt with:
http://www.dream-watches.co.uk/
http://www.watchcentre.com/
http://www.watchesofdistinction.com/
I have no complaints with any of them and would use any of them again.
Ian Blowers and David Duggan look good too, but I have not purchased from them.

Good luck

I've used Blowers, very good service and easy to deal with, plus they hold a lot of stock. The only problem is they're in Hull, so quite a distance from London, David Duggan i haven't dealt with but the prices are pretty much the highest of all grey dealers, they are a last resort to most due to these prices.

Thanks for some great links

In the perfect world i'd have a S/S Daytona but my finances can never free up that sort of cash at one time (drug dealing just doesnt pay as well as you'd think!) ;)

would like either of these

Mens Rolex Submariner 16613 blue dial

50th Anniversary Mens Rolex Submariner 16610LV

With those two choices i'd walk into the shop of watches.co.uk, they have a good dozen to pick from with those two, starting from £2600, i can't really see a better deal around just now or a place with as much choice.

Do you think second hand prices may come down if you wait a few months, due to the credit crunch, people wanting to hold on to their savings and/or more people being made redundant ?

The UK unemployment figures were released today showing a sharp rise !

Yes I am sure prices will, (and in fact have already started to drop) how far and for how long the drop will be for I have no idea..
I have recently been offered (within the last 2 weeks)New unused Milgauss & Deepsea for under list, GV £50 over List, and SS daytonas for about £400 over List...I personally think grey dealers are going to find things hard with the new price increase and the general state of the economy at the mo..

I think you should be able to negotiate a great price on either of the two watches you fancy...
