Here she is lads the Speedmaster 60th LE.
I tried ordering this one around Basel however for some moronic reason I told my AD I wanted the Seamaster instead of the Speedmaster. They ended up being able to get me one anyway although it took almost the entire rest of the year. So far I am loving it, although I am wondering if the lume is as dead as it looks, their colorization/aging process may have made it less effective. That aside, the entire package (box, etc...) is pretty nice except for the springbar tool which has a screw on top. The top fell off 3x in the store despite having it screwed down and overall it feels cheap. I think it's designed to keep the extra springbars in there but in my box they were floating around since the top had come off. So far I have only tried the bracelet although I ordered a couple inexpensive 19mm NATO straps to try out and will post the results when they come in. I ordered USA (blue, white, red) and then Navy & Yellow (Cal Berkeley colors). The bracelet is super comfy as you'd expect from a modern Omega. It feels strong despite the somewhat narrow width and is heavier than say the bracelet on my 16710. I wanted a Speedy and it just so happened that around the time Basel announcements happened I was in the middle of a large career change and wanted to commemorate it. Cheers! |

Congratulations. Very nice watch.
I picked mine up last week and have been very happy. My watch also has the problem with very weak lume - the hands are better than the hour markers, however. As for the spring bar tool, I think it feels cheap because the handle is made of very light aluminum. The problem I had with it was the screw top was very difficult to screw back on which might be the problem with yours. The top was very secure when I received it, but it took me 7 or 8 tries to get the top aligned properly so it would screw down securely after I opened it to look at the spare spring bars. |

Congratulations, great watch. With the silliness associated with Rolex supply I am considering another Omega.

I don't know about the OP, but the wait was definitely worth it for me. Apologies to codecow for the hijack. |

No worries. It’s definitely worth it, I expect it to feature heavily in my rotation.

Congrats! I picked mine up yesterday and I appreciate it more in person. My AD had 4 others available too.

Well done OP!
I think this one is going to appreciate when they're no longer available at ADs. I was told by mine that I got in on their last shipment. |
