SD for me...of course Sub date does not count, that would be an obvious result. Let's see If it's so hard to spot a kermit around..

Interesting question, I would have to say 'none', since these are rarely seen 'in the wild' around here. I see the Sub date (both SS, TT) a lot, but it's not on the list...

yep...Sub date everywhere over here too. I still have to see a no date one and my LV is the second LV I see in the wild since it came out.

It is an interesting question. When you factor out the Sub date things get thin. I've seen two LVs in the wild(not counting my own).

As I recall I've seen more SDs in my area than any other, but really not many of those.

between those three, it's mostly the Sub that I see.... I leldom see an LV. Hard to tell the SD from a distance, but those are almost as rare aas the LV.

Of course, the DJ is the one that I see most in the wild..

Can honestly say I've never seen any of those three in the wild. I'd like to see an SD sometime, though. I always look for guys with an overdeveloped left arm.

Since I've seen a LV & SD in the wild, I had to go w/ the SubND as my vote. Then again...I've only seen one LV & one SD in the wild...so in the end they are all relatively rare to me. Sub Date on the other hand...wow, I can't believe how many of those I run across on a weekly basis. Cheers.

I've seen 3 SD's in my life, 2 ND Subs, and I think only 1 LV 'in the wild'. These are pretty rare with the general population, come to think of it.

I went years before seeing an LV on any wrist but my own. I voted for the ND, but upon reflection, I don't see many NDs or SDs, either.

Cheers,

Chris

I have never seen a SD in the wild beside my own, have seen about 50 or so sub dates.

I've only ever seen one LV in the wild (& I think it was a fake at that), no SDs, and only a few NDs.

Of the non-poll options: Sub Dates everywhere, followed by Exp IIs, Daytonas and DJs in roughly equal numbers. Oh, and a nice looking Sub Date 1680 "red" on a recent trip to Sydney. Chap standing in the street reading a newspaper. Brief daydream ensued whereby I politely inquired as to whether it was for sale, and he replied "what - this old thing? Sure, $50."

Cheers

In this order (with the most commonly-seen first) I'd say - no-date Sub, SD, and then LV.

N°1 : Daytona's
N°2 : Sub Dates
N°3 : DateJusts
N°4 : LVs / SD / GMTIIc / GMTII

If Rolex cranks out so many watches per year, how come they (other than DJs and DDs) are so hard to find in the wild?

I work with and talk to tons of businessmen and see lots of DDs and DJs in first class as I walk the "walk of shame" back to coach, but rarely see the Professional models. Maybe that's why they command such a premium on the gray market.

In the past year, saw 1 GMT IIc (other than mine), 1 YM (Platty ... for you JJ), and 1 SubDate.

Never saw the LV in the wild (other than mine ... at the time).

I do see many in the wild (many compared to JLC, PP, Omegas, etc). But the more i see after Seikos are Breitlings... which i really dislike (the Breitlings...).

In all of 2008 have must have seen one every two weeks at a customer's wrist. Some of them where real WIS owning more than one.

Beside as soon as you turn on french TV every other person will wear one, same in fashion magazines around here.

Btw... i do watch some TV programs... just to spot the Rolexes in them... is that a terrible disease ?? (Yes Dear, Magnum PI, another one with Charlie Sheen and is Platy which i don't know the original name, etc)

maybe because a lot more people then you may think do what I do : buy the watch, wear it for few days and then leave it in the safe. That's what's is going on with my 2 weeks old LV......

Yup, I agree. I've seen lots of sub dates, but only one sub ND, one LV, and my SD

I voted LV

There are seven other Rolex owners in my company - and they're all Sub Dates!

I saw one LV at an airport but never a SD in the wild - at least not that I recognized.
