My Datejust 41 on a 21mm Hirsch leather strap
It's very difficult to find pictures of this model of Rolex with a leather strap on it. Hopefully these photos will help other people who are trying to make a decision for themselves. I like this leather strap because it makes the watch feel lighter on my wrist I don't have to worry about the metal band getting scratched on my desk and it shows off the lines of the watch very nicely as well as making it a little bit more dressy.
It also makes it feel like more of a vintage piece. Most people will probably not even know I'm wearing a Rolex which makes me happy. |

Hirsch straps are great! I have a couple for my Omegas (black alligator for an old Connie and a brown Terra for my Speedy)

I like it. Just got a DJ41 myself and wanted to consider a strap to go along with it. Very classy look. Elevates the dressiness up a bit too.

That looks very good. Thinking how it would look on my Explorer.

My Datejust 41 on a 21mm Hirsch leather strap
Huh, funny I just posted a thread regarding my experience with a different Hirsch strap color/combo not working well with Explorer, and here is an example of a beautiful watch on a beautiful Hirsch strap!
Did you have any problems with the strap rubbing against the body of the watch ( being too thick around the spring bar?) Looks great though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have tried about 5 Hirsch straps now and am having the same issue as the poster above with it rubbing on the bezel. Mines fluted so don’t know if there is a size difference?
Could you please post a model number/name of the one you purchased please? |

Here is a photo of the clasp.
Due to the difficulty changing the strap without scratching anything I'll be leaving this on for the foreseeable future. Remember, it's 21mm between the lugs. The bezel has a slight lip which makes it look like curved springbars were used. The band doesn't rub though I had to be careful putting it on. |

This is the Hirsch band I bought:
https://strappedfortime.com/shop/bla...-watch-band-4/ There is some rubbing on the back but it's not visible from the front. |

Very nice
I am a fan of straps as I like the lighter that the watch feels and that is stays tighter to the wrist.
Did you have to do anything to the strap? or Did you order a special kind of Hirsch strap? |

Looks great! On another topic, you probably want to screw down the crown of your watch.
