26400so discontinued?

Hi everyone, I saw some “chamaleon” was released at SIHH. I also read the 26400so has been discontinued, is this right? I think it’s the best looking watch with the panda dial, and might even consider selling my daytona for one

its been gone a while. I tried on that and the Ti side by side last year. The Ti is much nicer IMO. But i tend not to be a fan of panda dials.

I have one of the last 2017 and I have been looking to get one for a buddy and it seems they are hard to locate even on the trusted sellers here on TRF. I haven't seen one for sale in a while.

Chameleon? Never heard that but i see it now. Im assuming you are referring to the new SS green thing. Personally i think resale on that one is going to be weak once the newness wears off. Apparently its going to sell well initially though. The old SS will probably stay stable, but i dont see any increase. Its competing with the Ti most likely on the secondary market and not the green 44. The Ti is more popular than the old SS.

Still weird to me they discoed the SS, and there still isn't a more normal one in the line.

I have read about reliability issues on the 44s is that so? Im also considering a 42mm panda but not so sold on it. I Already had a 42 and didnt like it one bit, mind you i had a terrible silver dial. The daytona seems like it keeps going up so im on the fence, but its just so small

its the same movement on both the 42 and 44 so there is really no reason to pick one over the other based on reliability.

Yeah there are some issues. Not widespread but still more then there should be. AP's warranty is good though.
