Member Experience with Member GT 500......
Has anyone experience in trading with GT 500, John Reschke/John Reszke from Ohio? very slow ( many days after a completed deal ) to respond to communication requests about tracking of the shipped watch..... is that normal for John/GT 500? Mailbox is full as well.......thanks for your time. kind regards. achim

This guy? https://www.rolexforums.com/member.php?u=181151
What did you buy, and did you check for references before buying? His pledge membership has expired so his mailbox capacity will be small now. |

Yes. John and I worked a trade for some straps. John was extremely helpful and communication easy. Perhaps the time difference Aus/US is holding communication up?

Im assuming you are the buyer for the ETA Black Bay that he posted. Maybe he is having a tough time figuring out the paperwork, shipping time and costs to Australia. Thats no excuse for lack of communication though. Im sure Adam has sent him communication to respond. Hopefully its just a minor glitch on his end and the watch is on its way.

still no answer from daily requests for information.....
sorry for the late reply, adam. was on a business trip. John replied quickly until the paypal payment was with him. i told him exactly what to do including the wording for all shipment related questions. he agreed and from that moment on only one more email . 8 days ago, that he will send me the tracking number once he finished work that day. and that was it. it is troubling, but i always hope for the best in mankind and have not reported to Paypal yet. i do not want to tarnish him without knowing, what is the reason for silence. it would be very disappointing , if he does not ship and breaks his word and keeps the money. this purchase was not even under value; it is the exact value , he will get with leather band. i will not allow to go unreported . i have only his PP ID and the Jeweller, where he bought from originally. his name is on the warranty card, so it will be possible for the Internet fraud guys to track his adress. i hope, i`m wrong here. unforseen personal circumstances i tell myself, prevent him from answering/shipping the bought watch. any hlp would be very much appreciated. kind regards from australia. achim

Ok, I sent him a PM asking him to respond here. What did you buy from him, and what does "he will get with leather band" mean?

I think you should let the mods know. If by now he is not cooperating it’s obviously a scammer. Very sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey folks, no scam here as shipping was messed up from the start. I’m in the process of refunding his money. No scamming going on here but thanks for bringing it to my attention.

short update......John refunded the money yesterday. he keeps his Tudor Black Bay black bezel and refunded the purchase price. some shipment glitch, it seems. it shows, how important seamless communication in international deals has become. once the buyer has paid, he relies on communication until his purchase has arrived. many thanks to this forum in connecting with the seller. kind regards. achim
