Introduction - Question re: Vintage 96
Hello all i've lurked here for a number of years - i wish i would have bought some vintage rolexes back in 2013 when i was really actively looking at some and registered here!
(currently on a "two-year" list for a 116500LN) I want to get a vintage patek 96 to dip a toe into the vintage patek game. I know it's small but i actually am enough of hipster-wanna-be to be able to wear it i think. Also with the bigger crown, 18mm strap and vintage nature it clearly looks like just an old watch to me as opposed to something else Anyone have a 96 and would care to share whether or not they've been happy with it? Thanks! FA |

I have several. Different dial configurations. I love them all. Very easy to wear. No need to have on a winder. Just set, wind and go!
I actually love the smaller size as it announces that it is vintage and something special! It is a great watch to start into the vintage collectors realm. Before you know it you'll be looking at vintage chronos and perpetuals. Good luck and enjoy! |
