So many Daytonas. AD in Singapore

Walked pass a famous AD in Singapore Chinatown district, they only have two big displays and one is full with Daytonas, except the SS C of course. I didn't take too many photos since I'm afraid they will yell at me lol, some of the older staff here can be a bit on the rude side. But the other display is full of Daytonas TT and Subs TT as well.

Agree. I called up one AD out of curiosity to see how much an Oysterflex is going for and the guy asked what time can you come in? I can work with you on the price.

So sad isn’t it? Rolex make so many unwanted Daytona’s...but hold back (artificially) on the desired confirmation.

I surely wouldn’t buy one of these as a consolation.

Someone eventually has to buy up all those unwanted models displayed there otherwise the popular models won't move

Im sure this is one of the AD that have these much Daytonas though in Singapore. But that WG C with oysterflex sure a nice one :)

Thanks for the post - and I would say you are right - there are few AD’s around the world with that many Daytona’s on display.

For some, the reason is security - they keep many in the safe. For others, they just don’t have the inventory.

Exactly, that's why I posted the pic. I haven't check all ADs obviously, but this is the only AD that I saw have full lineup of the OF on display.

At any rate, it’s still unfortunate that people who want a product - can’t get it.

All of those are in most ADs I've walked into.

These are not rare or hard to get anywhere, from my experience.

This is where the reseller takes a bunch of those unwanted daytonas together with the SS Daytona hence the AD will always tell u theres no stock but at the same time u find this particular AD stamped warranty card matching an overpriced SS Daytona sold online by the reseller
