Change Of Bracelet

This has likely been brought up before, but does anyone change out their Daytona/GMT braclets for ones without polished center links? I am not crazy about the center links and prefer the matte bracelet on my sub.

I've seen several examples posted here in the past and the satin finish applied to the polished centers is much more appealing than the polished center links - especially on the Oyster bracelets.

I'm certain someone here can help you find someone to apply a matte finish to the PCL. Totally get it for the GMT but I actually think the PCL helps dress the Daytona up and be a more versatile sports watch.

I started a thread about this yesterday, I have looked around for a 97200 bracelet but AD's are not allowed to sell them seperately and elsewhere they go really quickly. So my current plan is to buy a no date sub transfer it to a nato strap for summer and use the bracelet on my blnr which at present I miss glidelock on (and prefer the bcl look).

I use a SubC bracelet on my BLNR

I don’t mind PCLs. Just like the look and feel of brushed more.

I put my BLNR on the bracelet that came on my Sub. I then dropped my Sub off at the Dallas service center and had them install a new Glidelock on it. Now I have them both on the same style bracelet. It did cost a lot though. Gotta do what makes you happy.

Someone here polished their Daytona bracelet, (I’m pretty sure). Hopefully they’ll post pictures.

It’s very common but I suggest swapping to another bracelet rather than ruining the original bracelet by brushing the PCL

I've heard somewhere north of $2K for the bracelet and clasp

I feel you. I hate PCLs but I hate more to modify my watches. So... I live with it and enjoy it a lot when wearing my SeaDweller.
