I am big into the EDC pocket dump community. I have a few Mont Blanc's for home use. I love to carry the Space pen bullet because it is so small. That said I don't always love how it feels to write. Is there any alternatives in a similar size that may offer a better writing experience, also must be extremely leak proof.

The FSP is the best I can think of!

That is what I have found so far as well. Its a damn fine pen especially for $14.

Maybe a Sheaffer Tuckaway, designed for women's purses and men's pockets.

Second & fifth from the left:

The Tucky came with the small clip or in a clipless format and as lever fill, plunger fill and touchdown fill.

If size is the real issues, try the Kaweco Liliput. And the Kaweco Sport might also be a good one to try.

I used one exclusively in college, some gold plated limited edition one. Have it somewhere still, like everyone else said, Great to write with.

Machine era field compact in brass is the option I stumbled on that gets me the same personality as a space pen with a bit more robust feeling.

The Fisher Cap-O-Matic is my #1 choice in the Fisher range.

Its ridiculously inexpensive with great write quality especially with the 'broad' refill.

I have to agree! I have the titanium large and small clicker and large and small turn bolt. The small ones take a Space pen or a Parker cartridge. They are well made and the seam between the lower and upper half disappears when they are put together.

I use them on the weekend or on trips.

For ball pens, the Fisher bullet is perfect. for Fountain pens, I have been surprised at how well the Travelers brass fountain pens writes. It posts to a standard sized pen and caps closed to nearly the size of the Fisher bullet
