My First Rolex

This is a picture of my first Rolex! I am sooo in love with it. Classy, a little shimmer, but understated. I love the pink accent, gives the masculine model a feminine twist!

I received it a present from my Aunt and Uncle for passing the bar exam. I hope my added wrist bling will land me a sweet job :)

Congratulations on your nice watch, and on passing the bar exam. From what I've heard, the New York bar can be a challenge.

I agree those pink hours markers are a very nice touch by Rolex and the fluted bezel (the sparkly thing around the outside of the dial) does give your watch just the right amount of bling

The best of luck in getting a job and congratulations on passing the bar exam that's amazingly awesome.

Enjoy the forum and yes it is more fun to participate

Thanks!

I love the dial, adds such nice shimmer. My aunt has the Air King with out the 18K gold dial and it looks much more sporty, but suits her needs.

And yes, the NY bar is considered hard, just dont know if I really deserve this Hot watch for my efforts. . . shhh :)

Nice watch and interesting twist (machined bezel) on your AK, I have only (so far) see smooth bezels on the Ak's. Welcome to TRF.

Congrats on both! You have a nice story to go with your watch any time you get asked about it.

That's My Niece!

I'm very proud of Emilee for accomplishing what she did. It wasn't easy, and she did it all on her own. She deserves the proudly wear the crown on her wrist!

So, any nice eligible bachelors out there? Someone with refined taste?

My first Rolex was an Air King, purchased whilst studying for the bar exam. I reckoned the pressure wasn't enough just to pass the exam without having the extra incentive brought about by a large luxury item purchase. I think it must have worked, and I've bought a few more watches since then. Congratulations, and best of luck to you, Emilee.

Cheers,

Chris
