Rolex in Alaska!
Well after 25 years of wanting a Rolex I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Submariner date. 116410 Black!!
My desire to own started out when I first seen a sub while on vacation in Hawaii. And every time I took the family on vacations undoubtedly was in some mall that a Rolex AD was. I tried one on every year and always had a great white glove experience. Two months ago I called my Alaska Anchorage Rolex AD and got on the “list” And was told that they have not received one in 6 months and to be patient. I received a call from Macey, the Rolex sales lady! I paid for it over the phone and and picked it up a week later when I got home from work. The watch tech removed two links and it now fits like a glove. I paid the MSRP of 8550$ and I am very glad to own this watch. It’s beautiful and I will wear it daily. Ted |

I was so excited I wrote down the wrong watch.
Yes it’s a 116610lv. And she is as beautiful as my wife. Thanks for all of your kind words and correction. When the AD called down to the NorthWest HQ And inquired about the watch she was told that other AD’s We’re also calling in and we’re on hold to get this watch. I am surprised that this watch is fairly hard to get. It’s been 6 months since Anchorage has seen one. I know I could of saved a few bucks and bought a used one and had it immediately but I just wanted a new one! I will say that the Anchorage Alaska Rolex dealer was great to work with. The Gentleman Who was sizing my watch to my wrist allowed my wife and I back in his work area as he took two links out. One from the six o’clock side and one from the 12. It feels just like I imagined. Comfortable and secure. We was even shown all of the testing equipment to certify a Rolex. Meters to simulate the depth and meters for vacuum and condensation testing. Then our sales gal Macey put all of the boxes and paperwork in a fancy shiny bag With a 2018 Rolex catalog and two box’s of chocolate! This watch was so worth the wait!!! PS. I’m waiting patiently for someone to ask me, “ what time is it?” |

Congrats it's a great watch but I'm sure not as beautiful as your wife haha.
I love hearing stories from people who have wanted a Rolex for years and finally get one. It's nice to hear about a dream realised. Sent from my SM-N920C using Tapatalk

Congratulations.. It's a Ben Brdiges here in Anchorage..i didnt get a good deal on the Daytona and ended up buying it from another state.
Macey is really nice. Compared to other Ben Bridges much better. Congrats on your sub. If I bump in to you I will make sure to ask the time ;) Planning to head there later today. |
