That’s over the MSRP for a new one. How rediculous

That's just insane. Over 30% markup from MSRP for a Sub C with date? I've read plenty on the TRF about how tough supply is across the pond with brands like Rolex and Patek...but is it really that bad? Are people that desperate and paying these kind of prices for Subs these days?

Does their two year guarantee mean there is two years left of rolex warranty or it’s their own personal guarantee/warranty?

Really it isn't about how the pricing is compared to US pricing but in comparison to other UK available watches. It's a typical increase for hard to get pieces. The watch itself looks fine!!!!

I’m fairly sure it’s the remainder of the manufacturer warranty

£1k over retail?
Get on a waiting list and make it known you're keen, these do come up if you display a little patience

I did have a closer look as my son is interested in getting one, it was a good clean example, but we’ve put name on waiting list at the AD up the road, we can wait the 2 or 3 months to save 1.5k

Also, the dollar is around 25% weaker than last year, so for our American friends the price must look outrageous

Who did you deal with this time? I popped in there a couple of weeks ago, and spoke to a young lad, asked about the sea dweller and was told no chance, they aren't taking any more names.

Spoke with a lady Sara I think mostly discussed the possibility of a oyster date for wife for her 50th birthday.
Nowhere is even opening a list for sea dweller so I won’t bother.
Got my eye on Basel hoping for a coke gmt to go in collection

Do you believe in fairy tales? Everyone can ask for what they want but from there to make the sale is a long way.

The time will go by quickly. Good choice. I’ll be glad to hear the results when it comes in.
