Tudor GMT Pepsi

I just put my name in at the AD for the new Tudor. I love the watch, the movement, and at less than half of the new Rolex SS GMT it's IMO a better purchase.

What time were you told if any? I was told today possibly between October and February. Just curious what others are hearing. I was told no list yet just the AD didn’t expect to see them until this timeframe. Obviously this was based on previous releases since the buyers were still at Basel.

I was remarking to my brother today how you can currently get +/- 70% of a Rolex with Tudor for +/- 40% of the price. Put another way, a new BB 58 + Tudor Pepsi GMT + nearly $2k cash leftover for the price of a new Rolex Pepsi GMT. For watches that are as good as Tudor is churning out, it's a very compelling argument (to say nothing of the headaches with availability and AD games).

It reminds me of the Nikon D700 from like a decade ago. Nikon made such a great full-frame camera for a great price, that eroded a solid chunk of their "professional" D3 sales. They didn't make the same mistake when it came time to replace the D700.

Had the D700 and agree that it was an outstanding camera.

If only they put the GMT in it that new 39mm case, I'd be all over it!!! The 41mm case is too chunky for my wrist.

I'm going to call an AD tomorrow. It took me some time to decide but I'm leaning BB GMT.

Yes, this is a great offering combination of clean, no date and a great classic mm size. Will be buying one no question.

The Tudor GMT would seem to be the watch for those who don't like the bracelet on the Rolex Pepsi GMT. It certainly can be a quicker fix for those who may end up on a waiting list for the Rolex as well.

The only Rolex-family offering that has tempted this one! Great choice.

This!

I will wait and try it on my wrist. If it is too big, I will wait for 39mm case and hope that they will change only the case size when the time comes.

Don't think the colour balance is right, the red/burgundy is quite vibrant but the blue is duller, think they should have the same vibrancy or dullness.

Pass. I’ll stick with my BB and 16710. Something about the color of the bezel, crown and no cyclops looks weird to me.

I'm 6ft 220lbs so this Tudor Black Bay Pepsi is perfect for me. Out of all the watches I can afford today that's my winner. Of course I would love to you Ever Rose GMT PM or even the beautiful new Daytona but I have to take a second mortgage on my house and my wife won't go for that. Lol

Now that would be a win! And push that crown in to the side of the case

Not me, and obviously wasn't expecting Tudor to go this way too but I am interested, look forward to the preview days.
