I have seen the new GMT Master II launched this week and have already asked my AD to put my name forward for one if they get any in this year.

I think it looks great in SS and the jubilee bracelet compliments it in my opinion. I think it is also very reasonably priced and should hold its value.

I like to get the opinion of the forum and whether its worth the investment of purchasing it?

im coming around. I always liked the WG BLRO so its the jubilee that im struggling to get my head around. Never considered one and never really tried one before.

Today i went to my AD specifically to try on jubilee bracelet watches. I liked them more than i thought i would. Im still not sure if it is for me on a GMT but im more openminded now that i have tried some jubilees on and tried to visualize seeing it on a GMT more.

Not a long term investment. Flip potential in the short term for sure, but to me thats not worth it.

It’s a great looking timepiece. What I find confusing though is the clear lack of love the WG BLRO got, but now that it’s in Steel it is suddenly an amazing watch. Was it simply because people couldn’t afford the precious metal version?

I’ve always thought of the jubilee bracelet as an old man’s style. But the more I look at it the more classic/vintage/elegant it gets. Don’t get me wrong. I also love the oyster but it’s more sporty/casual looking. But the Pepsi with the jubilee bracelet goes very well. A classic looking piece. If I don’t already have the 16710 with the jubilee bracelet I would definitely consider getting one. In short, buy for sure.

Sorry, just don't like the colors, the red looks pinkish, the blue is over saturated. And the Jubliee bracelet it too dressy. Rather get the Tudor with the same power reserve at a little over 1/3 of the price.

Like any Rolex sports watch, it's worth it! I'd lose the investment part personally.

Buy it if you love it. I for one, will wait this one out and stick with my BLNR. I suspect the BLNR will be discontinued and this is a new release, so plenty of time to acquire one and i have plenty of patience.

You may want to consider the bezel - it's the same as the WG Pepsi bezel, which to me is OFF! See picture below of the WG Pepsi next to my BLNR!

Also, i love Jubilee bracelets, but mainly on a DJ. I get it on the 5 digit GMT, but it also looks OFF on the maxi cases!

If you love it get it! It's beautiful piece and definitely going to be HOT!

I think the end link fitting looks odd, especially since Rolex has been addressing it on other models. But, other than that I think it's a great looking piece that will be in high demand.

At first I did not like it all. But watching more videos on it, showing it up close and reviewing it....the new GMT has grown on me.

They can obviously make a true blue because the blnr is actually blue unlike the BLRO.

Seems like because they couldn't make a true red, so they changed the blue to that purple color to make it better match with the "red"

I just don't appreciate that their own site and videos distorts the colors into something they are not. On top of that they also call them red and blue.

I suspect they are able to make true red. The issue isn’t there but rather when you die the other half of the ceramic bezel the second color.

See to make the BLNR, the whole bezel starts blue, then they die the other half black while the ceramic is porous. So it’s easy to pic a rich true blue cause black will overpower any other color.

In the case of the BLRO, in theory a rich true red is feasible. The bezel starts off as red, but then comes the tricky part where you die the other half blue. See a true red will make the blue turn into purple. So they had to play around with lighter off shades of red to get the least purple-ish shade of blue. The whole thing just looks off!

Totally agree! What's the point of having the cerachrom bezel if they can't get the colors to be an exact match. IMO they tried too hard and came up short.
