^^^ always nice to meet another member ^^^

Just a quick note to say how great it always is to meet fellow TRFers!

I had the chance to meet up with "TNG11" Tom today. He's great guy with a definite passion for watches. Much younger than I thought ... made me feel every bit my 50 years

I'm sure he won't mind me sharing what he was wearing ... He even let me try it on. I have to say the dial is what surprised me most, and how much it plays with the light ... incredible!!! I'm very impressed with this piece and everyone who owns it should be very pleased!

I knew I liked this guy for a reason Great to meet you today my friend

That’s awesome Brian!
The 5164 is a stellar piece. I believe he’s also a fellow SD43 owner.

Brian, it was a pleasure to meet you too!

I always love talking watches and can go on and on for hours... as long as the other person is willing to listen! I know my gf wants none of it!

And I'm glad that I am younger than you thought... every time I don't get carded at the liquor store ruins my day a little (that started about 2 years ago.)

Trust me Tom, when you’re my age, getting carded is a compliment

I’d like that Nick! We have a very cool little micro brewery here in the village ... I can picture beers, watches and shenanigans

I think what’s really cool, is that getting to know members here, means that you have friends in different parts of the Globe. I don’t travel very much at all anymore but when and if I do, I’ll be sure to reach out and try to connect with a fellow TRFer

Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Yes always fun meeting other TRF people. I have met two locals in person, three if you consider phone calls too.

I have been looking at some of the patek refernces and am torn between some discontinued models and others the arent exactly readily available either but at least in production..

neither the "home" nor "local" timezone tab in the 5164 depicted are indicated.. is that normal for these complications?

Newbie to TRF but mannnn (or woman, as the case might be), I'd luv the opportunity to hang out with fellow watch geeks. Others in my social circle just think I'm weird...so...I went online!

Picture was taken during daytime in both home/local timezones.
