Speedmaster Moonphase Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph

The price is coming down!

Two years ago when it debuted I prayed the $10,500 MSRP would plummet.

Within the last few months I have seen it listed (second hand) for an average of low $7,xxx's!!

What do you guys think? Could it get as low as the $5,000 range?

Opinions on the watch?

I have yet to see it in person but to me this could be the one to live with. It ticks so many boxes it's ridiculous!

Great looking watch and I doubt you will see it in the next few years as low a 5K. If I wanted it I would negotiate and pick it up. In the waiting time you could be enjoying a cool watch.

It’s on my short list. The black on a bracelet is beautiful. I don’t think it will get to 5000, maybe 5500 at the lowest, but that’s just my opinion. I’m very tempted when they get around 6000-6200

Amazing watch. If you try it on in person you’ll love it even more than you already do from photos. This is one of the Speedmasters that I really want. I’ve tried the black and the blue dial versions and I can’t decide which I like better.

Matt (MDGRWL) has one for a little over $7k brand new.

I’m not much for speculation so I have no idea how low the prices could go.

Totally awesome--particularly in blue.

Give it time---5K would not surprise me with the passage of another year or so.

They’ll get there eventually. I just picked mine up in mint condition with all the boxes and paperwork for $5795. I love it.

I tried it and it looks awesome, better in black than blue. Unfortunately they haven't done a good job on the blue which looks plastic-ish (in that price range new I'd expect a nicer work on pigments)
Somehow the black looks "light black" not deep black, which give it some unique look. It's a beauty. Bigger and heavier than a Speedy pro but very substantial.

I also really liked the two tone brown dial version, which is truly superb. But high priced.
