question on stopped Milgauss
Hi all,
I bought a new z blue milgauss in January from an out of state AD. I wear the watch almost every day. At one point about a month ago I went to put it on and the time was off by a half hour, which I thought odd. With the perpetual motion I have read it should be 48 hours of non use before affecting the watch. So I wound it again and it has been fine. Today I went to put it on and it had stopped completely. The last time I had worn it was Sunday afternoon, so again, not 48 hours. Can anyone offer any insight as to what might be going on with the watch? I sent the AD an email asking what they thought. Is this a service issue that is covered by warranty? Does it seem like the watch might have a more serious issue based on its performance in the first 2 months? any feedback very much appreciated! thanks |

Some AD will be ready, willing, able to take care.
Some will tell you to send the watch to the service centre yourself. |

If you wound the watch immediately before you put it down it should have kept time for 48 hours.
If you wore the watch after you wound it and then put it down, it was most likely not completely wound up and would not have kept running for the 48 hours after you set it down. Therefore it would not need servicing. People have all different levels of activity and it affects how much the rotor winds the watch. |
