Price Check- Explorer II
I was hoping to get some pricing info for a late 80s R series explorer II. Call it average condition, not recently serviced, and no paperwork. The forum has guided me on past watches, so hope to learn pricing on the explorer! What's market value, and what's considered a deal?
Thanks!!!

I'd guess you should try to get it for around $2,000 or less. You have to factor in the $500 you'll drop into it immediately to get it serviced. It has no B/P. I've seen the late 90's series ones going for around $3000.

I'd agree with Timber and say $2K. I wouldn't pay more than that.

Yea, I was thinking around 2k, or a little less. I do not know why, but really want another non-black face watch! Since I have horrible luck finding a steal on a yachtmaster, the explorer is looking kinda neat...
With current prices, I just feel the need to spend some loot and HELP the economy! I am not sure if this one will pan out, as the seller has yet to send me detailed pics... we shall see. Thanks All!
