Smaller wrist with a Sky Dweller or Yacht Master II

I have a smaller 6.5 to 6.75" flat wrist and was wondering if anyone else with a smaller wrist could show us their photos of their larger watches?
Specifically, Sky Dwellers or Yacht Master IIs.

Smaller wrist with a Sky Dweller or Yacht Master II

The SD is a 42mm case and the YMII is 44mm.

So id say just based on that alone, you’d have to go with the SD. I have the same size wrist as you and have a BLNR, I’d say that’s max I could handle. That being said, I think the SD has a slimmer case and a thinner bezel (ceramic bezel vs flutted), so it would probably be comparable to the BLNR.

I’m also basing that on photos above, never actually tried and SD on.

Great photos so far! No Yacht Master II though.

Hopefully, we'll see some more photos.

Op. Go try them on. I tried both pm and ss skydweller on. Size seemed to wear the same but both are in thick side but not crazy think like deep sea. Ss def was better with less weight for my 6.75 wrist. Should be lots of pm and tt around to try onat ad. Didn’t try ym2 since just not my style. Good luck.

That blue is very nice!
So 3 Sky Dweller photos, and no Yacht Master IIs.

YMII isn't as popular and more of a niche piece imho. It's designed for Regatta starts; most don't have much use for it other than as attractive jewelry.

There must be 100 YM2 SS threads in here. Do a search.

I'm tired of reposting my pics 100 times.

Is yours on a 6.5in wrist, out of curiosity?

Nice watches, but they look way too big for the wrists in the pics, imo...

I have the blue one and a same wrist size. Yes the watch is big, but IMHO not too big. I think when there is lug overhang the watch is too big. In this case the lugs don't hang so it fits me. Everyone has their own taste, but we are not in the beginning of 20th century anymore where the watches were oversized when the dial was 36mm in diameter. In the era where people wear sport watches with suits everything is acceptable if it looks good in your own mind.

Would post a pic but don't have enough points to do that.

Good to know. It looks fine in person as I look at it quite frequently.

It should be fine. If you like it wear it! I just got my sd43 and some say its big and most say it looks great. I think it fits very similar to my blnr I had, believe it or not. The tapered lugs make the 43mm feel as if its a 41-42mm watch. Sorry I know its not a YMII or Sky Dweller but, a bigger watch nonetheless. But overall similar fits I would assume. Out of the two you mentioned I personally would go for the SkyD! If I could source a blue dial one I would jump on it!

You probably need a flat wrist if under 7 inches.
