DJ41. Super versatile. Dress up or casual, it will work for you

DJ, but with smooth bezel. Never been fond of the YM.

I was considering a DJ41. Tried one on, but came home with the YM.

YM. If I only had one watch, I’d want something sportier than a DJ.

I also prefer the smooth bezel over the fluted probably for the same reason.

I could make either one of those work, easily.

As for you, you've got to ask yourself if you're more of a sports watch or "sporty dress" watch kind of guy.

does anyone knows why the 116622 YM platinum dial has blue lumes at night but the blue and rhodium dial has green lumes at night instead?

p/s - sorry for going off on the tangent.

YM is very underrated! I myself just started looking into a 16622 and 116622. That blue dial is something else!! I would take either over the DJ 41

Out of those dials , the dj41 , throw in a rhodium or the blue dial on the ym and I prefer that ;)

My vote goes to YM with Rhodium Dial because I own it, lol. I think it looks great on the wrist (no offense to the DJ).

And, I just checked my own lume and it's blue. Maybe it's more of like a blue-green lume? But, it's definitely not green.

As a long time YM owner I can’t say enough about the enjoyment I’ve had wearing it over the years. Amongst people who don’t know much or anything about Rolex it has received the most compliments of any watch I’ve ever owned over the years. It’s a stunning watch. Super comfortable, love the red accents and having a rotating bezel is handy.

The YM is a strange watch for me. I can't ever figure out if I like it or hate it. With that being said I'd go with the YM

DJ is a classic. balanced, functional, solid design that's versatile enough for dress or casual wear. it'll look great in a 100 years. YM has that bezel and lack of contrast that i can't get past.

I have the DJ2 with the smooth bezel, although Sunday I purchased a YM 116622 with the blue face, as I have just purchased the YM, I love it a teeny bit more, i feel like it is more of a weekend watch where as my DJ2 is for every day use!
Buy what makes you happy, i have both and love them.

Between the two I'd choose the DJ only because I don't really like the monochrome look of the YM.

Now if the dial on the YM was blue, I'd have to rethink it.
