Explorer II eye catching!

Another one if these showed up in a local pawn. They want 6,000 for it but it’s nice. Box but no papers. I don’t own a Rolex but these models are very nice!

Seems excessive to me. Great watch!!! Look for one with box and papers at that price. Even with both you might be able to do better.

Here's mine:

Here's one with everything for less than $6K.

Agree - for 6k you would want B&P and one in mint condition.

I recently picked up a 1996 16570 Polar with tritium lume hour markers (no glow anymore, still white but maybe will patina down the road). I have been unexpectedly impressed on how well it fits and sits on the wrist - slim height and low profile bezel. One of the most underrated 5 digit Rolex pieces IMO.

Great Rolex. I’ve owned two. Yea I know I’m an idiot.

The most comfortable Rolex I’ve ever worn.

Very nice but 6K is much. Decent examples can be had with box, papers and even recent RSC service at this price point .

Wouldn’t pay that price without papers.
