Best 2nd Rolex to complement my OP 39 Rhodium

I love my OP39 but it leans on the dressy side. What do you guys think would be the best choice for my 2nd Rolllie, to fill the “casual day” gap perhaps?

I would get a white gold BLRO, a tool watch that is understated yet luxorious

An Explorer 1 would be a nice "brother" to your OP - that would maintain a theme of clean simplicity in design.

A black dial GMT II would be an option if you want something very different.

I thought of Exp I in the first place, but went for OP39 instead as I found it a touch more ‘70s retro (in my mind :) )

Sub is the good proposal, looks nice and sits well in my wrist.

But the black GMT was always somewhat attractive to me... the one with the green gmt hand

WG blro - ouch, it is really nice!!!

Same boat as you. I had a Rhodium 114300 for 2 years, and after getting an itch was searching for a sports model. My search took me to various ADs but alas, same.old story, all sold and or accounted for.

I was looking heavily into 116610LN and the 116710BLNR. I put myself on the waitlist and will buy on the spot if name comes up for both. This tells you how much I love these models. I think you should seriously consider one of these two pieces. I have owned older professional series GMTs, SD, Subs etc and the Sub and GMT takes the cake.

It all depends on your budget. But if you can, Sub or GMT

I notice you said you dont like date. 114060 way to go. It is clean as hell.

Since you don't want a cyclops, I would go Explorer. Or sub.

For my next two "casual" choices, I'm looking at the Tudor GMT and/or the Pelagos LHD.

If you love your OP, but want something a bit more casual then I'd say an Explorer. Natural fit.
