Should I trade ?

I have a used 116500 black dial that I’m tempting to let go. Iam planing to trade it in for a 16610lv green and a gmt coke. My side + $ for both sub and gmt . Any opinions friendly members?

It would really depend on the condition and completeness of the GMT and LV.

Tough call and completely different watches. If the dollars are right and they speak to you, I suppose yes.

I am so into my blackface 116500, that I'm a bad judge, will never let mine go. Sounds like you may be over it, Hulk and coke GMT are both awesome pieces, good luck with your decision! Happy people problems...

Why are you looking to get rid of the 116500? Are you bored with it or is it just because the value of the watch at the present time?

Take caution as the D will be hard to replace but if you prefer the other two then do it, just hunt for the best deal.

Again. Depends on money amount.

But if that works, I’d likely do it.

Thanks to all the responses . As to money I have to add around 6500usd cash on my side . They are both complete set . Iam certainly not bored of the daytona but just that the Kermit seems to be a good piece to colllect as of daytona it’s still new so if I regret I can still have a chance to get it back

So...the deal is a Black Daytona C PLUS $6.5K for a Kermit Sub and Coke GMT?

That is not a good deal for you at all, unless both these pieces are stickered and the Kermit is a flat 4 dealio....but otherwise:

You are getting bottom of the barrel value on the Daytona against top of the mark $$ on the Kermit and GMT.

That's a HARD PASS if I ever saw one.

Glad you asked. Don't do it.

The Ceramic Daytona will be very difficult to replace and you may regret letting it go.

I wouldn’t do it. I’m planning to get that Daytona knowing that I already got the white dial 116520 as well.
Cheers.

Well it all depends on which LV it is and which GMT.
If you have a 16610LV serial Y and the 16710 has a 3186 movement inside, then that would be a hell of a bargain.
Of course the conditions are paramount here.

Ive swapped a few watches in my time. The desire to try them all can be so much that you end up trying to reacquire something you let go... A few years ago this wasn't much of concern, now though, especially with the Daytona - it'll be a massive one....

My thought

Listen to this! Totally agree - otherwise sounds like a bad trade to me.
