Is it normal that rate and amplitude are variying ...
when you put full winded watch to the timegrapher dial up, and leave it there. After few minutes, should the rate and amplitude stay stabile, or is it normal that rate varies couple of seconds + - and amplitude changes 10-15 degrees?

Depends, modern movements are generally quite stable if there is no heavy spot in the balance and no hairspring problem.
Vintage movements can be pretty unstable. I'd recommend to put the time on 10s for a measurement, that way you'll get a more stable result, no point in it refreshing every 2 seconds. |
