Oyster bracelet clicking
Hi guys, I’ve done some searching on the forums but was unable to find the answer to an issue with my submariner that has been mildly annoying. There is a very distinct clicking sound coming from the bracelet on my 114060 whenever the bracelet is pulled upwards through the movement of my wrist. I have narrowed down the source of the noise specifically to the SEL on the 12 o’clock side and suspect that there may be a problem with the spring bar placement. I am certain that the noise is not coming from the internals of the watch (ie rotor noise) nor is it the squeakiness of a new bracelet; I understand that these issues have already been addressed on the forums but it seems like mine is a different one.
I am wondering whether others have ever experienced the same click noise (and whether they have been able to fix it), or if this is yet another “within tolerances” aspect of the bracelet construction. Thanks in advance. |

I have the same clicking noise which is caused by the end link at 12 o'clock hitting the case while doing a quick wrist rotation.
The end link at 6 o'clock is very solid instead the one at 12 is more loose. Were you able to fix the issue? |

It's usually the clasp blade hitting the interior on a loose 12 o'clock side.
Try applying tape sequentially to isolate it.
