Show me you’re well worn ROC

Just acquired my first AP yesterday and have had many friends tell me what a scratch and ding magnet they are if worn as a daily. I’ve always worn Rolex and while I’m careful about my watch I don’t take that to extremes. They’re meant to be worn right? Just curious what I can expect after a few years worth of use. I work in an office and if I’m doing yard work or anything like that i typically am sans watch. So...show me those well worn AP’s!

My old ROC had a few battlescars on the bezel, so now I'm more careful with PM bezels and wear more selectively.

I’ve been wearing mine almost daily for the last month. There’s a few swirls, you can see one around 12 o clock.

But it’s not too bad, it’s brushed!

For example I couldn’t live with the old Daytona’s without ceramic. Those are so scratch proof it’s not even funny.

Yeah the old Daytona’s were horrible after some wear. The ceramics take a beating and show nothing!

With just a little care and attention to your surroundings APs can look good forever!!!

My 116520 on the other hand after daily wear...(and the wife’s bracelets) looks like its been drug behind my car...lol only saving grace of my 500 is the bezel...ROC would be my preference though.

I wore a 25860 for the better part of two years and it was spotless, you just have to be careful.

I think I’ll be fine. I don’t abuse my watches at all. Appreciate the comments and pics!

Pretty much this...some good wrist awareness and its fine. Anything will scratch or damage if you're not careful. If you get a few dings and scrapes then so be it, but I don't see any reason to go out of your way to accumulate them, or be excessively concerned about acquiring them.

As you can see, nobody is going to post a ‘well worn’ super scratched up ROC, as they probably have a beater watch for that
