GMT BEZEL fade .....how old??
Hey all....I was looking at a Pepsi GMT over the weekend. It’s a P serial..year of production....2000 ish. The red is faded to pinkish/very light red. Blue is slightly faded. Anyone have a late 90’s, early 2000’s Pepsi/coke that has faded ? Or is this considered “too young” ?
I’ve seen several pics with faded bezels, with WG surround hour markers, but those could be mid 80’s. Any help or pics appreciated. Thank you |

My K ser. (2001) pepsi, has faded to a nice salmon.I think It’s pretty normal from what I see in that time range.

This 16710 has a P serial number along with a 16700 with an A serial number. It is not uncommon to find faded 16710s or 16700s with faded inserts from that era.

What’s with all the posts trying to find the secret recipe to faded inserts? If Collectors knew exactly what inserts would change what color and at what time it wouldn’t be fun.
