What do you believe may be wrong with the 2nd one’s date wheel? That “9” looks problematic.

Option 1 is over polished (esp the right bottom) lug and has a replacement insert. It also has a spot on the date wheel which can be a sign of other problems.

Not sure what is going on in the photo with the date "9" but so long as its just the photo, #2 is a solid candidate.

I doubt there's anything 'going on' with the 9 - it's the cyclops.

Then it’s the “waviest” cyclops I’ve ever seen

Or an aftermarket crystal.

As you’re new - you may not know - TRF’ers aren’t the valuation kiosk.

Just worn and/or polished. Date wheel is fine.

As yes, I did forget about someone polishing the cyclops to remove a scratch

can't agree, Option 1 case looks nice, replacement insert? How can you say that for sure? I see the grubby date wheel but otherwise both are pretty OK in my book.. need much better pics of the dial though.

The 9 is distorted by the cyclops - from polishing and scratches on the cyclops. Nothing wrong with the date wheel based on the photo.

Agree - that was pointed out by another member, too. I was not considering that even though I have an old DJ with same issue
