For sale legendary IWC Mark XI Issued MoD British Military Wrist Watch with Cal. 89, Royal Air Force (RAF) Pilot's Watch

Original IWC Pheon marked (Non "Sterile") radium dial, correct "Pencil" hands, original coin edged large crown for easy grip. Case is 36mm in size and only shows minor scuffs consistent with the watch's age - unbelievable overall condition, lug size is 18mm. Clean and original manual wind cal.89 movement stamped with Pheon (very important) has been recently serviced by a professional watchmaker and is running strong. Comes on Hodinkee NATO kangaroo leather strap designed specifically with this watch in mind and worn a handful of times. The watch appears to be very well taken care of and loved throughout its life and is an excellent example of this iconic pilot's watch - a true collector's piece. Asking $7,900 shipped insured.
